Another View On Carlitos

carlos-tevez-2_88179sHere I go again getting on my high horse…and quite likely upsetting many United supporters!

My affection for the club has been strong for many years and while I hold a higher regard for some of  its players than others, I still remember anyone who ever donned the red shirt with the utmost respect.

Some of them have left outstanding memories like Charlton, Best, Law, Crerand and others too many to mention. Others like Cantona, Schmeichel, Robson, Keane, Beckham, Ronaldo and the like are more recent members who the younger fans remember so well.

The Top 50 United Legends Of All Time

The Times Online recently named who it consider to have been the top 50 Manchester United players of all time and I’m interested in what you people think.

I personaly disagree with many of the rankings and I have no doubt that many other people will have vastly different opinions, so let’s have your thoughts  and let us know who at least your top 5 should be.

Rather than nominating my top five legends I would prefer to name who I consider to have been the most influential players in the club’s history.

1 – Eric Cantona

2 – Billy Meredith

3 – George Best

4 – Jack Rowley

5 – Roy Keane
